About the role
As an FP&A Ops (Senior) Manager, you will be part of a diverse, multinational, and highly motivated team. You will be a thought partner to our clients, with the ability to discuss finance simplification and innovation, and lead a team that implements these improvements using the Abacum platform.
Mission
- Lead project teams to implement Abacum for our customers to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize time to value
- Hire, coach, and grow a team of 5-10 people, providing 1-on-1 guidance and regular feedback that helps them succeed
- Actively lead and/or participate in on-site or virtual workshops with customers to discuss business and technical requirements
- Enable customers to adopt the product and maximize value from their Abacum investment
- Drive cross-department collaboration through communication and alignment, working closely with Customer Success, Product Management, and Sales
This role is perfect if you have
- 3+ years experience implementing or consulting for financial planning (FP&A) or finance software (ERPs, corporate performance software)
- At least 1 of those years in a managerial role, managing teams and projects as the main point of contact for clients
- To be considered for the Senior Manager position, you must have at least 6 years of professional experience and at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Domain expertise of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close, regulatory reporting, and other business processes run by the CFO's office / Strategic Finance teams
- Proven ability to prioritize and maintain a system for proactively managing multiple customers, projects and requests, for creating and managing a plan, and for keeping your teams organized too.
- Ability to communicate with C-level executives and senior managers (CFOs, Head of Finance, Head of FP&A, etc.) to drive change and improvement
