What we're looking for
Abacum is seeking a talented recruiter who wants to co-develop the recruiting engine at Abacum. You will partner with the founding team to start building the foundations for the talent team. We are looking for someone with broad experience hiring for tech roles, but also is willing to hire for business roles as we scale the team.
You will have the amazing opportunity to have a direct impact not only because you will contribute to hire the A-team that is going to make possible Abacum's mission, but also because you will define how we do it. Working along side an experience team that has lead People organisations which have hired over 500 people combined.
Mission
- Setting up the foundations of the recruitment engine, which ensures that we meet our hiring objectives, and make it happen
- Abacum's success highly depends on our capabilities for hiring fast, but not compromising in quality
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process from the brief to the onboarding of new hires, ensuring best-in-class candidate experience
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs and team goals
- Source active and passive candidates from a variety of sources and communities: online and internal databases, employee referrals, events, networking and research
- Build and manage recruitment metrics, to keep stakeholders up to speed on the hiring progress
- Be a consultative advisor to the business, leading strategic discussions to build teams holistically
- Help define appropriate tools that we might need to adopt as we grew on complexity
- Abacum also needs to implement the best onboarding process, helping our newcomers with a smooth process to make them feel welcome, and help the company also implement those processes that guarantee that our new colleagues have a fast learning curve
Qualifications
Competencies
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related field is required
- Minimum 3 years proven In-house Technology recruitment experience. Proven experience in full cycle Tech recruitment
- Experience in recruitment marketing - i.e event planning, various employer brand initiatives.
- Extensive sourcing experience using Boolean searches, Linkedin, GitHub etc
- Proven expertise in high-level talent attraction through social media, recruitment campaigns and networking capability
- Experience partnering with Hiring Managers and managing stakeholders, across all levels.
- Experience recruiting at high volume in a fast-growing, constantly changing environment and can work successfully with technology leaders
- Fluent in Spanish and English
